Biography
- Exclusively dedicated to sculpture, she uses engraving and drawing as a direct way to reach the three dimensions, investigates chromatic techniques to get to form. She graduated from the Complutense University of Madrid in 1995. She has the degree of research sufficiency and is currently working on her PhD. She began to work with bronze and has researched sculpting methods, including microfusion and jewellery techniques applied to sculpture, which incorporate nature into her works. She uninterruptedly participates in the Estampa fair for 10 years, and in other fairs, including Ghent and Utrech, all of which mark her career path, being noteworthy her involvement in international group shows in the USA, England, Japan, Finland, France, Italy, Portugal, and Canada. Her first sculpture and engraving awards include: International Miniprint of Cadaques. Francisco Higueras Sculpture Award in Jaen. First prize of sculpture by the organisation Sixida from Pfizer Laboratories.
