Biography
- Born in Madrid in 1964, her interest in painting begins at a very early age, self-taught, attended some monographs on painting and engraving, later expanded her education by studying the degree of arts applied to sculpture, although her artistic dedication has always been linked almost exclusively to painting and engraving. She has participated in numerous exhibitions throughout her artistic career. Existentialist thought flows in her works, the importance of man’s feeling, a look at the world but always from a human perspective. Figurative works, but not realistic since she decomposes and decontextualises the human figure. Black, white, and blue, applied flatly, prevail in her works causing a feeling of emptiness and loneliness in the viewer. In some of her works we find other colours such as green and others that are more aggressive, such as red or yellow, giving the work a deeper sense of fear and human fear.
